Making new candles from old candle wax – what am I doing wrong?
I saved the wax runoff and drippings from candles after they have been burned — and I melted them, poured them in candle molds with a wick and when they dried, I used them as candles.. BUT every time I burn these candles they give off black black smoke– why???

best way to get candle wax out of a tablecloth?
I was reaching for a candle to blow it out and I tipped it over on my christmas talblecloth. I was told to put paper towel over the cloth and then iron it and it will pull the wax out. Is that right?
