I want to start making candles. I narrowed it down to the ones i want to start making first. Which is gel and chunk candles. I would also like to know what supplies i will need to make the candles besides like the wax and wicks and things like that i mean the things you use everytime you make them. Also if anyone had any good sites that i could buy the supplies from it would be great! Sorry if i sound kinda dumb haha =]. Oh too i could also use some more information on chunk candles!
Thanks in advance!!

I’ve been working with candles for 15 years now but just in this last 2 I’ve been working more with soy wax. The problem I have been facing is that the color fads. I’ll make the candles and store in a cool dark area and when I take them out 3-6 months latter the color has faded from both end going darker in the middle. Any help would be great thanks. Also a side note* I’m trying to go as natural as i can so I have not used any additive other then the dyes themselves these candle with the coloring are not sented as well.
Spell candles but honestly not the point. The point it to find out how to stop the fading
Ok so my candle fell off the shelf onto my carpet while it was burning. Now I have a yellow SPLAT! of wax on my carpet. How do I get this out? I havent touhed it yet for fear of ruining my floor. Help Me?!?!?!??!
I am trying to find out wich is the better wax for making container candles. So which do you prefer? Also what scent do you prefer? And since Spring and Summer are coming, what is your fav. scent for that time of year?
This may seem like a stupid question, but I was wanting to make a three color-layered candle. I was wondering if I can use the wicks I have from when I had a candle-making party and melt down candles I already have that didn’t come out right.
Thanks to all of you. I thought I might be able to, but wasn’t quite sure.
I accidentally spilled a candle and the wax is on the floor and it dired.
I’m just wondering what type of candles you all prefer? What do you like your candles in? Jars? Free standing? What’s your favorite scent for candles? Thanks!!!
