I’ve been looking for the beanswax line from yankee candle, but can’t find it anywhere. Does anyone know if it’s been discontinued, or maybe it’s only released a few times a year? I’d love to find more, as I only buy soy or beeswax candles and these smell GREAT.

Someone accidentally spilled some green candle wax on my new, Frye leather boots. I don’t see nor feel any wax on them, but there are three dots (color distortions) on my boots that were not there before. How can I get it off? I’ve read about the brown paper bag/iron method and the ice cube method, but once again, I don’t see any wax on there! Is it a burn perhaps? Any help is greatly appreciated!

We did a lab where we heated a tin can full of water with a candle. The unit is enthalpy.

In the previous question, I was asked to calculate heat absorbed by the water in each trial.

Trial 1: 6700 cal
Trial 2: 4844 cal

How do I calculate heat released per gram of candle wax? Oh, and if it helps, the next question gives the formula C32H66 for candle wax.

I have a 100% Homegrown Soy Candle business.

I have 7 scents and need to mix and match so i can change the names. Or i can just use the scents but i’d like a different name for them.

Here are the 7 scents i have:
Strawberry
Blueberry
Lemongrass & Sage
Birthday Cake
Hyacinth
Amber Romance
Butt Naked

The Amber Romance and Butt Naked i’d like to keep the same just because they are known by those scents only!

Any ideas? THANKS!

I already have some candles made up that are just straight scents, one of each scent. Now i’d like to mix and match.

I was holding a candle and the wax dripped onto my jeans. I let it dry and then scraped it off but there was still a dark area from the wax. So i washed them but it looks the same as when I began trying to get it off.. So any ideas of how to get it off?

How do you get candle wax out of a 95% polyester and 5% spandex skirt? I need it to wear to a funeral and I forgot that the last time I wore it, I got candle wax on it.
