I usually just soak my candle jars in a sink of hot water and scrape the soft wax remains out with a butterknife. Is there an easier way to get the jars/containers cleaned and ready for a new candle? I considered boiling them, but glass breaks easily when boiled.

Easy’ Put in your freezer for a few hours , then take a knife and poke it , it should break right away and come right out… I do it all the time.

Use the microwave, or set them on the stove when you are baking something, when the wax melts pour it out and wipe with a towel under warm water.

Put them in the freezer, overnight, the wax will pop right out, in the morning.

I boil all of my jars. I haven’t had one break yet.

If you wanted to, u could invest in one of those candle/beverage warmers. It’ll melt the wax into the bottom & you can pull it out in chunks. After that turn it upside down in the dish washer on the bottom rack, set it on heated dry and it’ll come out spotless.

The best way I have found is to soak them with cold water several hours. The wax will pop loose enough to get it out with a knife. Then you can put them in the dishwasher or wash in very warm soapy water.
