Ok so my little brother thought it would be funny to wood glue a candle (and it is not a candle stick… it is a candle in one of those glass candle containers) and my mom is making ME take it off! so anyways what are things I can do to get it off!
I would light the candle and hopefully it will heat the glass and inturn will melt the glue, that’s what I”d do.
you could use a puddy knife to pry it off, but the wood may splinter.
You are probably going to end up having to repair the wood no matter what you do, because the super glue will be hard to remove with out discoloring it. You can cut, melt or pry the candle off, then use finger nail polish remover to get the super glue off. You may have to lightly sand the area to remove bits and pieces. then use something to darken where it was discolored, like wet tea bags or wet coffee grounds, just rub them into the surface and wipe clean.
Then super glue your brothers dirty underwear to his headboard and hide the super glue.
you can buy a debonder it is used with to undo industrial strength glue. you can find this at hobby lobby in the model section and mybe at walmart. i know it works one guy i worked with glued his hands together with really strong glue and debonder got them a part it will debond anything that has been glued.
Read the label on the glue tube,it tells you what to use to unglue it.put some along the base repeat if necessary
