I spilled a candle on my green carpet last night. It’s Red. How can I remove the stain?

Hello guys. Last night I was reaching to get a glass of the table and I can a candle on the candle warmer, and the glass that I reached for tipped the melted candle over making all that melted candle wax hardend up on my green carpet. Somebody please tell me that this will come out. Or how I can even get the wax that is hardened on the carpet up. Somebody, Anybody, please help me with this question???

    You can try putting a piece of paper bag or wax paper over it & putting a warm iron to it. It should melt the wax & make it stick to the papaer & you should be able to lift it off.

    Take a brown paper bag, place it on top of the wax, then take a hot iron and glide it over the brown bag and the bag will absorb the wax.

    Wax Removal from Carpet
    The last thing any of us need is wax dripped on the carpet. Once it hardens, it seems impossible to remove. All is not lost though. For cleaning carpet stains made by wax, first chip off as much of the surface wax as possible, using a dull knife or paint scraper. Once that is done, place a cloth or several layers of paper towels over the wax and apply a warm iron. Iron the towel for a few minutes and then lift. The wax should now be on the cloth instead of the carpet. Remove carpet stains left behind by blotting with a vinegar, or if it doesn’t come up easily, nail polish remover.

    Hi
    There is two ways to remove wax from carpet.

    1/ Use the edge of a butter knife to carefully scrape off or lift up as much solid wax as you can .Use a dry clean white terrycloth place it over the wax spot then heat it with a iron on low setting because most homes have polyester carpet, and if the iron gets too hot, it’ll melt the carpet. Keep checking the spot every ten seconds or so, moving the terrycloth so that a clean spot is on the carpet.

    2/ Which is the better way. Use the edge of a butter knife to carefully scrape off or lift up as much solid wax as you can Heat up a full kettle of water and pour it slowly on the carpet at the same time with a wet vac vacuum up the water. Keep on doing this until the wax is removed.

    pick off the hardened wax
    take a piece f parchment paper and a warm iron and iron the paper on your carpet and keep doing it till all the wax is gone.. moving the paper to a clean spot each time.. if you don’t have parchment use a clean towel or rag
    when you no longer get any more wax.. use a carpet cleamer.. car carpet cleaner works better than household carpet cleaner .. and scrup it clean
    but it is important that you irn all the wax off your carpet to remove it all first…
    making sure the iron is not to hot.. just warm

    a steamer you can get them at Target or walmart hand held just add water and it produces steam point it at the wax and it will soften it then you can remove it

    Use the edge of a butter knife to carefully scrape off or lift up as much solid wax as you can. Fill a zipper-type plastic bag with ice cubes and place the bag over any remaining wax. The cold will make the wax more brittle, enabling you to scrape off additional wax with the butter knife. Repeat this procedure as necessary to remove as much wax as possible. Be careful to not disturb the original condition of the fibers.

    To remove any remaining wax, finish up using a warm iron. I highly recommend that you set the iron on a low heat and test the procedure first in a closet or other inconspicuous place. A synthetic carpet can melt if the iron is too hot.

    Place a brown paper bag, several sheets of clean white paper, a white rag, or a white towel over the wax spill and iron over them using the warm iron. Keep moving the iron so you don’t get an iron-shaped burn mark in your carpeting, and move the absorbent paper or cloth so the wax melts onto a clean spot. When you see little spots that look like grease or water, you know the wax is lifting up out of your carpet.

    Replace the absorbent paper or cloth as needed. You may have to repeat this process several times (using clean absorbent papers or cloths each time) to remove all of the wax from the carpet fibers. Work carefully; you don’t want to burn yourself or iron off the paper or cloth and melt the carpeting. Do not rush through this; it can be time-consuming, so be patient—it will remove the wax.

    If small grease-like stains remain, sprinkle them with baking soda and let it sit overnight before vacuuming.

    This is easy. Use a warm iron and a rag,papertowel {folded twice} or a paperbag. Place the papertowel ontop of the wax and iron..Rotate the papertowel or replace it as needed to get all the was off.

    Take an old rag and lay it over top of the spilled wax then a piece of waxed paper over top of this take a hot iron ( on the hottest setting) and iron over it until the wax is removed you may need to repeat this a few times before all of it is removed, after this you most likely will be stuck with a grease type of stain I would suggest to get a strong degreaser and scrub up the stain.
