I believe I’ve read warnings not to use the container for anything else besides candles in the past, but I don’t know if that’s because the wicks contain lead, the glass itself contains lead, or because the glass becomes weakened by the constant heating and cooling from lighting and extinguishing the flames, therefore may shatter easily. My bf’s family has a clean candle holder (it once contained a scented candle) that they use for the family’s bunny’s water. I was just a little worried about the bunny’s health as I don’t want poor bun-buns to get lead poisoning! I couldn’t find anything on google concerning this subject. Thanks in advance!
