I have some old candles that are in the glass jars. The wicks are pretty much to the bottom of the jar. I want to melt the wax and make a candle out all of it put together. Can I place the jar in a boiling pan of water on the stove? Or would the glass break?

Please and thank you!!

Lay a dish rag in the bottom of the pan to set the glass on or use a double boiler….

put all the candles in your freezer, then when they are hard tap the bottom of the glass and the wax will pop out, take all the wax pieces and melt in a double boiler and pour the mix into a glass jar or whatever you want your new candle to be in
