how do i melt the wax, so i can use the wick for my candle? it’s in a glass jar, so I didn’t know if I could put it in the microwave or not.. I accidentally left it in my car and now I can’t burn the candle. What should I do?

Try using acandle warmer. This will allow you to use the candle without buring the wick. The candle warmer will melt the wax and allow the scent to release.

    Another soultion:

Turn you oven on to 200 degrees. Place the candle on a cookie sheet coverred with foil. The candlke should melt fairly quickly. Check the wick when it is all liquid. If the wick is at least 1/4 inch abouve the liquid, then you can take it out and use it.

You can also use this method to clean candle jars. Just melt the remaining wax and dump it into the trash. DO NOT throw it into the sink or you’ll be calling the plumber. Wipe out the jar with a paper towel and some windex or window cleaner.

get a new candle would be the best bet. ; ) or scrape the wax of the wick,

you can try to dig the wick out of the wax with some tweezers or a needle otherwise you can also (using a torch, the ones to light bbq) you could try and melt the wax around it.

    dig the wick out

get a lighter and hold the flame in the spot where the wick is, it will melt the wax around the wick

Dig the wick out with some tweezers. Your best bet would be to go to a store and buy a new one, though. As far as I know they’re only around 3-4 dollars.

What you could do is just simply buy another one.

  8. Herman says:

turn it upside down and flick the lighter and melt they section away, just make sure the wax goes into something

you should try filling a pot with really hot water and set your candle in it to soak for a while…after a bit, the wax becomes more pliable, and you might be able to scrape it out with a toothpick or tweezers…don’t know how bad yours is melted, but this has worked for me in the past

I would just dig the wick out with a needle or tweezers. This is the safest, easiest way and will garuntee the wick comes out in one piece.
