I would be concerned that as the candle burned it would make the glass really hot and it might "POP" meaning explode.
I have a nasty scar to prove this can happen. I put a candle in a crystal ashtray one time and it was not good.
I did something similar for a friend, and they turned out great!!!

Love the idea as long as you continue the ‘Sea’ theme for the rest of the decor at your engagement party. Otherwise it will seem as though you bought these ‘on sale’ and just decided to use them at your engagement party.

it depends on if you want elagant or fun and breezey both are nice but i think the second one would be used in more peoples homes so make a better favor but both are cool
