My husband and I spent last Christmas in Poland, and saw the cemeteries on Christmas Eve filled with candles and lanterns of every color. It was a beautiful sight. We lost our infant twins this year and would like to decorate their grave at Christmas the way the Polish people do, but I can’t find those glass candle lanterns anywhere in the US. Is there a Polish web site where I can order them and have them shipped to the US?
Polish ethnic stores may have them , also try http://www.nypl.com or http://www.domitp.com . Glass candle lantern is called ZNICZ . If you live close to Chicago , New York area you should not have problem to find them on polish neighborhood .
