I freeze them..they pop right out because they shrink in the cold.

Try using vasaline or cooking spray next time before putting them in the holder. It will keep them from sticking

    steel wool works pretty well

frizz it and chip it off

  4. BC says:

put them upside down in the freezer until the wax retracts and loosens. that’s what i do.

an ice pick has worked for me in the past or a flat head screwdriver

  6. Cobalt says:

If there are still stumps in the candle holders, put them in the freezer and they should come out in pieces. If they are too small to grab, you may have to melt them out carefully using another candle, over aluminum foil or newspaper.

Get a lighter and gently melt it all into a disposable cup, then, chuck it out!

  8. FaZizzle says:

Soak the candle holder in WARM water for about 10 minutes; that’s going to help make the wax more plyable.

From there, scrap it out using anything–a knife, steel wool, etc. Anything that works, use it.

put the candle holder in the freezer for a few hours. The wax comes right out. I’ve done this and it works.

I don’t know if this will work but why not pour boiling water in them, that way you can melt the was and pour it away all at the same time

Stick them in the freezer. Once you take them out, the leftover candle stubs will just pop out.

In the freezer upside down to get the majority of it out. If that does not work, while it is still frozen, try to cut it out in pieces using a kitchen knife, nothing to sharp. And finally, you will have some residue left, all you gotta do is scrub with any sort of scouring pad, etc and dont forget to use soap. This is what I use all the time to clean up my wife’s candle mess from our votive holders.
