candle making help!!?
ok so im having a sleepover 4 my bday and i want candle making as one of the activites...im having 5 ppl over coming including me which means 1 candle...

1) how many $$$ will the candle making items cost?
2) what are all the items i need for them,im using glasses 2 put them in
3) are there any tips or hazards i need to know?
4) is this is gud idea?
6) is it betta to buy a candle making kit for the WHOLE sleepover?

1) Candle making is not at all expensive. Take a look at Michael’s online to get a general idea.
2) Wax and wicks are mandatory. Color and scent are optional.
3) the wax is flammable, so use a double boiler to heat it in. What a lot of people do is put water in an electric skillet, set to low heat. They then put the wax in a clean can. Coffee cans work well, as they are larger than most food cans.
4) I think it’s a great idea. Candle making is fast, easy and there’s nothing like instant gratification with a craft.
5) I’d just get some wax, coloring and scents and let people make their own. It might be better to get a kit if you want complete instructions.
You can buy candle making kits which would be good for a beginner.
