Hello!
I am making favors for our engagement party. I want to make a wine glass candle. I am melting wax and pouring it into the cheap plastic wine glass. I haven’t done that yet, but would like to know if th plastic wine glass will melt or is not safe? What would you recommend? Do you have a website where I can purchase wine or champagne flute molds or plastic glasses that is safe for candles??
Thanks!
If anyone lights the candle the plastic will probably melt and start a fire. I would stick with using something made from glass to be on the safe side.
it would be fine if you did ,but when you put it in the glass do it over the trash just in case if your worried
well it would be fine when you pour the wax in. if you put in some beads or shells that looks really cool. but the problem is if someone actually turns the candle on the plastic might melt. im not sure because i havent done it but im using commen knowledge/science. but my aunt has a candle like that but its glass. its a little more expensive but at least you know for sure that it wont melt. here is a cool candle link.

That will work just fine if you don’t ever plan on lighting them!! Use glass so that the candles can actually be used what you are planning is dangerous and a safety hazard
