How do i prevent crystals forming in candle wax?

I have been trying to melt down a store bought candle and pour the wax into a glass. However, when ever I try this, unwanted crystals form in the wax....



I have been trying to melt down a store bought candle and pour the wax into a glass. However, when ever I try this, unwanted crystals form in the wax. Does anyone know how I would prevent these forming. Thanks.

    If you pour into a glass, its best to put the glass on a warmer, or blast it with a heat tool for a few minutes before you pour. The glass is cool, and the wax is hot so it forms those little crystals because of the reaction to the different temp. SImply warming your glass should fix the crystals. : )

    I would try a paraffin wax based candle, like those sold by PartyLite, because they completely melt and stay melted at a lower temperature, allowing you to poor it without any pieces drying into "crystals"
