I spilled wax onto my really nice dark grey dress pants (white candle wax). I have seen other posts about the bag or paper over and then ironing, but I am afraid to do it and damage the pants. If I take it to a dry cleaners, will they be able to get all of it out? Any advice is really appreciated.

The dry cleaners should be able to get it all out. I think the bag think might work, but not sure what the tag says about ironing. I wonder if you could get a credit card and scrape it off. Probably the best thing to do is let the cleaners take care of it.

put the garment in the freezer until the wax hardens you can then crack most of it off then use the warmest iron you can use for the woolen material not to burn put layers of paper towels on right and wrong side of the pants so the wax will soak into the paper towels place something in between the other layer of fabric so the wax will not melt through to the other side of the pants use plenty of paper towels and just keep repeating with new paper until you think you have most of it out then wash in warm water and eucalyptus oil wool wash.hope this helps
