Freeze it really good with some ice ..then flake off with a fork.

get a roll of paper towels and an iron. put a paper towel over the spill and then iron it. pull the paper towel off, and some wax will come off with it. repeat the process till all the wax is gone

Scrape off as much as you can with a butter knife. Then get an iron and a brown paper bag. Rip the paper bag in sections. Place a piece of the paper bag on top of the wax and carefully iron with a warm iron and move the paper bag around to clean areas as it soaks it up. Don’t do it too hot, it could melt the carpet. That should do it!

The iron idea works great!!!! Another option, newspaper. I was worried about the ink but it didn’t come off when I did it and as the newspaper was fairly porous, it worked decently fast..

Use ice, and a dinner knife to get it up. Take care.

    Removing Candle Wax From Carpet

Fill a metal pan with ice cubes. Place the pan right on top of the candle wax and leave it until the wax is frozen solid. Then hit the frozen wax with a small hammer to break it up. Pick or vacuum up the pieces. Put dry-cleaning solvent on a clean cloth to remove any residue.

Place ice cubes on the wax. Once it is hardened enough, just pull it out of the carpet fibers.

Take a paper towel and put it over the wax. Then get an iron and put it on low heat, rub it over the paper towel and couple of times. Then wait until the paper towel cools a little and try again. This should work.

Get a roll of paper towel and your iron. Turn you iron on a medium setting. Place about 3-4 sheets of paper towel over the wax. Start ironing the area. Move your iron around so it won’t burn your carpet. You may need to replace your paper towel several times, but it will work. I’ve used this method for years.
