I accidently knocked over a candle in my kitchen and it all the hot wax spilled onto the wall. I Did my best to scrape it off but there is still a stain from the brown wax on the white paint. Is there anyway to remove the wax stain without damaging the wall? Thanks!!
Your only solution is sandpaper and re-painting.
You can try other methods, but I think you’ll just end up sanding and re-painting in the end. It takes less than 5 minutes if you have matching paint.
Sand with fine grit sandpaper. Make sure you get every little bit of wax off or the paint won’t stick. Don’t worry if you remove paint along with the wax…you’ll be re-painting anyway. After all wax is removed, re-paint.
If you don’t have matching paint, find a close match and paint the whole wall. If you paint one wall in a close match, it will look like an exact match.
Good luck.

Kelly, there is a product called "Goo Gone" and it is for crayon, sticky stuff, and candle wax removal. You can find this at Walmart, any hardware store or fabric and crafts store. I like it BUT you have to use a little liquid cleaner dilluted with water to clean up after it because it has a residue that feels a liitle greasy.
I would try to remove as much of the physical wax as possible and then gently use a Mr Clean magic eraser. It works great on walls and will not hurt the paint.
It’s AMAZING Hope this helps! http://inhut.info/57389/candle-wax
well im not sure how safe this is but as for me………… i would try a warm iron on the wall with paper toweling or newspapers between the wall and an iron set to low heat( no steam ) to absorb all the wax residue. we do that in art actually but on fabrics to remove wax.
