My cat accidentally got candle wax all over her front paw. I can’t get it out no matter what I try. I’m not so worried about it annoying her as much as I am it making her sick. I know candle wax is non toxic, but will it hurt my cat?

If its soy wax, you are fine. If its paraffin, then don’t let them lick it. Use a warm or almost hot wash cloth and just keep rubbing to get most of the wax off.

Might have to cradle the cat on its back in your lap sitting Indian style and clean the paw good, between the fingers too.

Bet they learned what wax and a flame was huh lol. Mine sit and look at my candles, mesmerized by the dancing flames. My one got close enough once to melt a whisker, she gives the candles a low brow look now when she goes by them.

It will not hurt her. Don’t worry. It will come off on it’s own in time.

as long if she does not eat it

It should be all right. Something you might try is soaking the paw with a hot washcloth – that might help melt it.
