Attending a Midnight Mass with my nephew last Christmas, my nephew lost his grip on his candle and dripped wax on my pant leg. I haven’t worn the suit since. The wax seems set in and will not come out. Any suggestions???

get some greaseproof paper or normal paper and put it over the part thats got wax on, get iron and put on gentle setting to start and iron that paper if doesnt work 1st time get new piece of paper and turn setting up! be careful not to burn suit and failing that / or if too worried take it to dry cleaners they should be able to help!

Put them in the freezer, it may make it come off.

Freeze in the freezer or use ice.

Put in the freezer and then it should just peel off.

CANDLE WAX MELTS AT 60ÂșC JUST TRY WITH HOT WATER, NOT BOILING! AND THE CANDLE WAX WILL COME OUT

  6. Ema M says:

Try using paper and a hot iron. The iron will melt the wax, and the paper should absorb it.

Put a brown paper bag over it and iron it off. The iron melts the wax and it sticks to the paper bag

Freeze off most of it and iron out the rest. Good luck and I hope you still fit into the suit after all this time!
