I am thinking about starting a candle making business. Of course like all entrepreneur’s, I want to appeal to those who enjoy certain scents.
Any ideas on scents most prefer?
So i wanted to know if anyone out there who makes candles/soaps where if you give them a picture, front, back, sides, could make the candle/soaps from that picture. (colored, if possible)
The candle/soap could be "painted" if need be, as i’m not going to use it really for lighting, more as a decoration.
If there is anyone who knows of someone or someplace that does these kinds of things, please tell me!
thank you so much!
I would like to start a candle making business and would like to know the basics of what needs to be considered before doing so.

I made candles today by melting down pre made candles. I poured them into their holders (shot glasses, tea cups, ect). Most of the candle tops were bumpy and not smooth. A few turned out perfect, but I was wondering if there was any way to make them smooth without completely re-melting them down (I made them into different colored layers). I thought maybe using a hair dryer to melt the top layer and then smooth it. I was wondering if there are any better, more efficient ways to do this?
