I just pulled my parents’ wedding album out of a storage bin, and much to my dismay, the candles I had stored in the same bin melted all over the photo album. Does anyone know of a safe way to clean wax off of old color photos? (The photos were taken in 1974.)

Last night I was burning some candles and some of the wax ran off the table and on to my carpet. Can someone please tell me how to remove it without messing up my carpet? Thanks so much!

My cat accidentally got candle wax all over her front paw. I can’t get it out no matter what I try. I’m not so worried about it annoying her as much as I am it making her sick. I know candle wax is non toxic, but will it hurt my cat?

I love candles but no matter what they always use the ‘wick’ first and I end up throwing away lots of candle wax. Is there anyway I can re-use this left over candle because it’s such a waste. Thx

For those of you who have a Scentsy warmer or know what one is: I ordered a Scentsy warmer (I have not received it yet) but I didn’t really like any of the scents offered. I am a Yankee Candle girl and was wondering if I could use Yankee’s wax tarts in the Scentsy warmer. Have you done this?

I love candles and am usually burning a few at a time. However, sometimes there is still a ton of wax left in the jar that didn’t get burned or melted or whatever. What can I do with this? I get the scented candles, so it’s just a waste of perfectly good wax (and smell!) Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Still learning….
Do I scrape the old wax out? When you guys say to make another candle…how exactly?

One of my candles "malfunctioned" and dripped all over my cedar chest. Im not sure how to get the wax off the wood without damaging the finish. It’s a very old cedar chest and has never been re-finished. HELP!
Thanks so much to everybody!! These are all great answers. Im thinking a combination of these techniques will work just great !!!!!!
