My wedding is in August and the colors are champagne and black. I have mirrors i plan on using for each table at the reception and would like to put candles of varying sizes and in black and champagne on the mirrors. I don’t want them to be just plain and was thinking of using those little push-pins or stick-pins that have a pearl top on them so i can stick them in the candle to make it seem a little nicer.

Can anyone tell me where to buy these, or what the actual name of them is so I can search for them on ebay?
Also if you have any neat ideas for affordable centerpieces please let me know or direct me to a site. I’m a college student so i am on limited budget.

I really dislike fake flowers but i did buy some acrylic diamonds, 1/2 carat size in black and clear. They are just really cute and i planned on putting them on the mirrors, in a scatter type way…

The wedding is at 2pm, will it look bad to have candles lit indoors if there is sufficient lighting already, like in case i cant dim the lights slightly will it look tacky?

and what does it do and significance?

My sister is getting married in October and her and her fiance planned to use the unity candle ceremony. (two candles lit by the mothers are held together to light one candle by bride and groom) Our mother passed away a few years ago and the woman that my dad will soon be marrying doesn’t even like the fact that he has kids. Who do you think would be appropriate to have light the candle in place of my mom?

My fiance and I are getting married May 26, 2007. We’ll be married in a gorgeous white gazebo outside. We’d really like to light a unity candle in our ceremony but I’m afraid that being outside the candles will blow out. Any suggestions? I have found battery operated LED lights but I’m not sure we could turn them on without being obvious. Or would that matter? I have also thought of oil candles. Will those get blown out by wind or does the oil make it harder for that to happen? I don’t have a massive budget so I’d like to make sure of what I want to buy now so that I don’t spend too much money. Thanks for all your help!

Where do I put it??? I plan on putting it at the ceremony and reception. I thought I’d put the picture/candle at the head table, would that be ok?

I’m thinkg of having an out door wedding. I want my fiance’ kids to be the candle lighters. Having candles outside is not going to work, hopefully someone has a creative and fun solution.

I’m have a starry night wedding. its indoors so we are gonna have to come up with a way to make a night sky in the hall we are getting married in. Our colors are Midnight blue juniper and sliver/crystal… those are the colors we will use through out the room..

but my girls are gonna wear midnight blue dresses with silver sashes.

most of my lighting i want from candles and christmas lights but know i’ll need more than so it wont be to dark……
