i made 10 martini glass gel candles for centerpieces for an upcoming party. i left my friend responsible for putting the wick in them because i had to leave as soon as i was done pouring them….well she forgot and the gel cooled so now they are solid. is there any way we can still insert the wick without having to start over? all the supplies were expensive and cant be ordered in time :(

we are afraid to reheat the gel in the oven because scented oil, glitter and dye have already been added and we dont want anything to catch fire or the glasses to shatter

please help

Can you purchase some candle wicking with wire inside of it?

Then cut the wicking in pieces you need and stick into the middle of your candle.

Hope this idea helps you out.

You can always try using a needle to get the candle loose from its holder and then using it to drill a small hole in the center thread the wick that way; you’d have to be very delicate though, so it wouldn’t mess up all the work you’ve done.
