My wedding theme is county/sunflowers. Isn’t a unity candle simply a big pillar? It does not require any special decoration etc. etc. other than a beautiful silk ribbon in your main color (or white, for that matter). Shucks, candles come in all colors so you can take advantage of that too.
How about going to a craft store – like Michael’s or Ben Franklin or others – and asking the staff if they have a steady customer who makes hand-made candles whom you can ask to make you a special, unique candle instead of just buying something off the shelf? Sometimes they offer classes on candle-making as well, in which you can make your own candle.
There are any number of great candles, too: tapers, torches, multiple wicks, etc. etc. etc. The unity candle doesn’t have to be a pillar – just one that is large enough to see from a distance.
So dear one, if the one you found online doesn’t suit you, use your imagination and do something else.

Some of these are a candle, or holders with sunflowers. The ones on etsy.com, most sellers will custom make their items for you. Either that or you could get a plain pillar and tie a sunflower print ribbon on it, a sunflower sticker (check Martha Stewart’s 3D paper stickers), or a silk sunflower.
