I just asked a question about flowers and colors that would accent orange cala lilies…What do you think of this..
Instead of putting more flowers around the centerpiece which will be Orange Calla lilies, what about having the orange callas as the centerpiece with candles around them and maybe bright yellow and bright red flowers tucked into the napkins in front of the menu like this http://weddings.theknot.com/ODB/themes/realweddings/detailview.aspx?id=28104&type=3&wedding_details=Reception+decor&knot%20pick=true&pageIndex=2
instead of orchid I’m thinking bright yellow and red tulips, daisies or roses. Will that seem too busy? What kind of candles, short tea candles or large pillar candles?

I couldn’t see the picture because I’m not registered on theknot, but I can picture exactly what you are describing.
If it were me, I would definitely go the the orange callas as the centerpiece with the candles. Instead of tea lights (very short) or large pillars (too tall), go with votive candles like this:

To add to your centerpiece (if you want), I do think it looks so pretty to put the vase and the votives on a mirror tile (again, as pictured above). It really adds lots of shine once the candles are lit.
For the napkins/menu….I would use a yellow rose. I think roses and callas are so elegant. I think they would compliment each other beautifully.

I like the idea of candles. I would suggest yellow tulips and white daisies to brighten it up a little. I found some image results that may help:

Maybe you could find vases similar with votive holders that fit inside. I would check places like Garden Ridge and Michaels.

about halfway down the page, the crystal hurricane. I was thinking you could do something similar with a regular hurricane and pillar candle. (Michaels and Garden Ridge have lots of hurricanes and candles.)
