I am creating my own centerpieces for my wedding but my question is…. is it ok to have a different centerpiece on each table? or should I do the same one on each table, I think that just seems kind of boring . I want each one to have some kind of candle just maybe like floating candles on one, pillar candles on another, etc.
thats a great idea to have different centerpieces…i love it…but make sure that everything ties together it some way… usually by color or in your case its candles
i have seen is a few of the weddings i have been to and it looked really nice …cuz the same thing on all the tables does get a little boring….
good luck and congrats!!!

I’ve sen that done, and as long as they are tied in some way (type of flowers, general shape, etc.) it can work.
i’ve also seen them done where you have 2 basic centerpieces (a tall and a short) and you arrange them in the room (short closer to dance floor, etc.)
Perfectly fine. There was an issue of InStyle Weddings this last summer (I believe it was the fall 07/winter 08 issue) where a floral designer in L.A. was saying that having a different centerpiece on each table is a good thing and something she tries to do as much as possible. The pics they included didn’t look weird at all.
I think it would be interesting to have different centerpieces. Maybe keep one common element to tie them all together.
i think it would be a good idea but there a lot of pros and cons… if your doing somthing huge it would be beautiful to thave the same center peice on every table but if you doing somthing like small designed glass candles i would go with the same make but different shapes and colors adding flower pettles or some kinf of table graffiti or candies and favors from table cloth covers colors to napkin colors its can look amazing ….. you can always put the fountin centerpeice and decor around it differently on each table ill give you a photo of the table fountains…..

Make sure you have one thing that ties them together (in your case candles) and it will look coordinated but have that variety that you want.
You can also tie them together with color or by having a pattern. For instance maybe every other table as an all candle centerpice and the others use flowers. Many brides are embracing this because it’s a great way to save on flowers and really have a few amazing arrangements rather than several ok ones without looking cheap.
It’s your wedding honey and in this case you can absolutely do whatever your heart desires. It’s not going to disrespect anybody if you have 900 different centerpieces.
I think similar colors or similar designs would look way better than cookie cutter/ mass produced looking centerpieces.
Just like the bridesmaids wearing different dresses looks great so would similar centerpieces.
Plus, if one guest brings 2 of them home, they could seat them side by side without having them look like matching bookends!
Yeah, I think It looks very pretty.
Good Luck on your special day
