I’d like to get a candle for massaging but I was wondering if all candles that are soy based are also the kind you can use for massage. OR is it only ones labeled "massage". Just wondering if there are different ingredients. Someone told me there is no difference however I don’t want to get one and find out its not the right kind.

It doesn’t matter. The ones labeled massage are because of their relaxing scent such as bayberry, sage, lavender, mint, and lemon.
Soy candles are just cleaner burning, naturally made, and last longer. You can use any scent you or your client/person likes. My favorites are rich spices such as Sandalwood, patchouli, myrrh, amber, cinnamon, ect. Each person is different. It might be best to ask the person you are massaging of what scents they like best.
    Enjoy!

I would be careful with which ones i used as a massage oil. Most will be ok but there are few people coming out using cheap fragrances that you shouldn’t put on your skin. Ask the candle maker or check on the packaging to see if they use essential oils. Also sometimes they will have some icky stuff to make them not melt on hot days and you really don’t want that on your skin!

Stick with good brands or find a local candle maker that you can talk to. As soy becomes more widely used there will be more cheap and nasty on the market, best to play it on the safe side.
