I’m making soy candles with Cargill Naturewax C3. In the cooling process, the wax around the wick will either crack or slightly cave in. Initially I was pouring at 160 degrees F in a glass jar, but still encountered the same problem. I then tried 145 degrees F, 125 degrees F, and 115 degrees F, with the glass jars pre-heated, and the exact same problem occurred. What more can I do to prevent this from happening? Thank you!
I need advice on what i should dothe wax is cargill naturewaxC3
You could re-pour a small amount to cover the entire top surface. This second pour should take care of the problem. Hope this helps!
