having problems making soy candles?

So I wanted to make soy candles as some gifts for christmas. So I bought everything needed it cost me about 125 dollars but I can make 25 4oz candles in glass apothecary jars. I made about 10 and they have no hot throw and very little cold throw. I am using about 12% FO because that is what the ecosoya wax can handle but nothing. The wax is easy to work with but no scent. I bought more FO from another supplier so I will see if that works. Any help would be greatly appreciated
What you are experiencing is a common problem with soy wax candles. For better results try using different vegetable/plant waxes like palm wax.
Or better yet, to save time and money, just sign up as a rep/consultant/distributor for a vegetable wax candle company and buy your candles at the rep discount from a candle maker who has already figured how to make a candle with a good scent throw.
