what is your basic WHITE UNSCENTED TEALIGHT candle made of?

i have a bunch of the same little white unscented tea light candles and was just curious what they were made of.. soy? beeswax? i don't know. ...

    Paraffin wax which is a petroleum byproduct. They are cheap but nasty. Burning them is like releasing a small dose of car exhaust into the air.

    Probably paraffin.

    It’s not a bad thing; if you have ever used wax paper, chewed gum, eaten a chocolate candy bar, bought a block of cheese, colored with a crayon, or gone surfing you have used paraffin.
