How do I clean beeswax off of glass?

I made my first attempt to make beeswax candles. I poured the beeswax into small glass bowls and shot glasses and as I poured it in some of the wax got on the side of the holders. What would be the best way to clean off the candle holders so they look nice?

I recently moved into a home that my sister used to live in and she left behind many of her glass belongings (like candle holders, vases, pots, etc.) and one by one they keep breaking. Is this just a sign that this isn’t her house anymore? Or could this be of negative significance?

I’m going to make candle holders with small glass tile and am wondering why I need grout with such small pieces of glass. They are going to be very close together.
