I am creating my own centerpieces for my wedding but my question is…. is it ok to have a different centerpiece on each table? or should I do the same one on each table, I think that just seems kind of boring . I want each one to have some kind of candle just maybe like floating candles on one, pillar candles on another, etc.

I need your creativity! We are having a Christmas wedding and the centerpieces were suppose to be a clear bowls filled with a red pillar candle, shiny Christmas bulbs and pine but I am having a heck of a time finding the right bowls. Can you think of something creative to use instead of bowls? Keep in mind that it can’t be too elaborate because I need 35 of them and I would like them to be less than .00 a container.
Thanks in advance!

im making 6 centerpieces for my 23rd birthday and i want to fill these glasses with hot pink vanilla scented gel wax. do u think these glasses are ok to use with the hot gel? i wasnt sure because they have the lights in them and i dont want to ruin them
im sticking glass swizzle sticks in the sides of the cups and glueing tiny faux diamonds to the edge to look like sugar on a martini rim but it was shimmer in the light
thats what i was afraid of
if u want to make them go to this website it has crazy stuff like glitter and dyes and scents
rusticescentuals.com
im using the rasbery ice colorant with the shocking neon pink glitter mixed in. then im using the diamond dazzle dust as the "sugar" on the rim and for the scent im going to do the Very Sexy for Him Victoria secret oil they sell…its gunna be a sexy little candle!! haha

I’m the maid of honor in my best friend’s wedding in August. We were on the phone talking about some of the plans she made today, and mentioned that because I love arts and crafts, she thought I could make the centerpieces for the tables. She thought candles and ivy would be pretty and different than a regular floral centerpiece. Do you have any ideas on what I could do? I looked a little online and couldn’t find something I liked. I was thinking of maybe putting different sized pillar candles on a cake stand and maybe having the ivy around the base of the candles and flower petals sprinkled on the table. But don’t people usually like to take the centerpieces home? It may be hard to put something like that in the car as opposed to a vase with flowers unless I glue the candles to the cake stand.

I was figuring on putting a big red pillar candle inside a large hurricane glass for some centerpieces, but I can’t seem to find pillar candles that aren’t scented!!! Are scented ones ok? There would only be 4 or 5 in the whole room (about 75 people). Or does anyone know where I can find unscented red candles? I’ve tried Walmart, Target, Michael’s, Sears, …

I am making my own centerpieces for my wedding. It is going to be 3 pillar candles on plate with some of those gem rocks.
Here is the best example of a picture I could find: http://www.waxwizard.net/images/fdc/pillars-mirror.jpg
I want to add a little more color to the pieces, so I plan to wrap some ribbon around the candles and add a charm or something to candles to hide the overlapping ribbon (I can’t tie bows to that is not really an option).
Does any one have any good ideas of how to do this. I don’t know what to call these "charms" or where to get them. I am looking for any websites that might help me find these "charms" or suggestions for how to hide the overlap of the ribbon.

I was wondering if anyone knew where you can purchase colored pillar candles in northern New Jersey fairly inexpensive. I am using them as part of my centerpieces for my wedding and need about twenty or so.

I'd like to personalize the pillar candles that will be used in the centerpieces at my wedding. I'm sure there's a way how, and I'm hoping to get some advice from someone who's done it.
