What kinds of things can you stick inside gel candles? I want to make a chile pepper gel candle and was thinking maybe making it out of playdough and letting it harden and sticking it in there, but I don’t know if that’d be flammable? Basically, does anyone have any interesting ideas on making a chile pepper gel candle?

Can you mix a real scent with a gel candle mix? I want to make some gel candles but I want them to smell like Vodka or something, is it possible to just add a tad-bit of vodka to the gel to give it the scent of vodka? or would that damage the gel?

we accidently ran a gel candle in the dishwasher and now its all over the plastic and non stick surfaces but none on the glass or metal stuff… we have tried hot and cold water but nothing seems to remove the gel… any ideas would be greatly appriciated

Can you take a cup and put some jello mix in it and put and little candle in it thus making a cheap gel candle?

I have heard many stories about how gel candles start fires more easily. I am not sure if I believe them or not, but will my gel candle work well on one of those candle warmers that usually melts the wax?
