My mom left a candle burning last night, and she picked it up and dropped it and candle wax went everywhere (mostly on the wall) and I was wondering if anyone knew anything to get it off (besides painting over it). If it helps the wax is blue. It’s also on the carpet.

A pretty large amount of candle wax spilled on our couch, my son’s favorite blanket, my jeans and my mom’s cotton shirt (favorite though) Everyone is okay, the flame went out, thank God. But…Can we get the wax out????

Yesterday, candle wax dripped all over my new pillowcase, and I have no clue how to get it off. My mom told me that it’s pretty much ruined, but I’m still holding on to hope that there’s some way to get it off. By the way, it’s Egyptian cotton, if that helps. Is there any way to get it off? HELP!

a few years ago for my mom i made a candle out of a plastic dr. pepper bottle. then i cut away the bottle and now she just has this really cool candle (dr. pepper is her favorite). this year i wanted to make her a bar of chocolate candle, like with a wick in each square of chocolate. what do i use as a mold and is there a simple way to make each individual square into a floating candle?

my mom has started planning on starting a candle making business my dad thinks its a horrid idea. do you think its a good idea? she is planning to make it big. she talks about it all the time . she has even come up with a name for the candles and all. they both ask me what i think and im just here with the uh i do not know face. so i ask you all what do you think? we come from a small town of 33,000. not a lot of competition. do you think it will work out for her?
i guess the reason why i am asking is cause she has asked me to help her out with it.

My sister is getting married in October and her and her fiance planned to use the unity candle ceremony. (two candles lit by the mothers are held together to light one candle by bride and groom) Our mother passed away a few years ago and the woman that my dad will soon be marrying doesn’t even like the fact that he has kids. Who do you think would be appropriate to have light the candle in place of my mom?

I am getting married November 10… less than 3 weeks away. When it comes to ceremony decor for the chapel, I am stuck. My future sister in law is doing most of the decorating. She suggests instead of candlelabras use tall pillars with about 3 different sized candles on each side of the chapel. However, my mom insist upon it being the tradional candlelabras. I’m confused as to which will look better. I know what the candlelabras look like but I am not sure how the pillar candles would look and/or be arranged. I’m afraid if I choose pillar candles, I will hate them last minute. Then theres my fiance, that says do whatever I want but then gets an attitude if I choose something my mom likes. I am so stressed and confused over this. Your opinions and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Other decor will include a large arrangement of callalillies and roses with various greenery in the center of the small chapel. The chapel is really pretty and we are going for a simply decor approach.

Ok so my little brother thought it would be funny to wood glue a candle (and it is not a candle stick… it is a candle in one of those glass candle containers) and my mom is making ME take it off! so anyways what are things I can do to get it off!
