any ideas on finding the hurricane and votive candle holders?

This was hard for us. We are having an outside wedding and needed big ones to stop the wind so i spent over a month looking on the internet and land based stores and found http://www.hamptonstore.com/cat_hurricanes.cfm Best store and nice people.

ask around to friends who have gotten married recently. we just borrowed one
Everything I have read and seen during my research says go ahead and buy them. If you rent its normally close if not more than buying and if you buy them you can sell them after the wedding and get some of your investment back.

I don’t think you can rent these…try a Ross Dress For Less. They have a lot of home decor items really cheap.
Don’t know about renting them in your area, but I have brides who buy them all the time for next to nothing.
Usually at places like The Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Fred’s, Garden RIdge, Hobby Lobby, & Michael’s. I’ve gotten them for as low as .88 each!

We are also having a wedding in Monterrey a week from today!!!! My daughter (the bride) found hurricane lamps on eBay. They are beautiful mosaic tiles. Good luck, I hope your wedding is everything you hope for!
I got married in November and I found them at Pier One. You may also find them at a floral store that sells wholesale. Ask your florist as they may be able to rent them for you if you dont want to purchase them. I have many of the voltives left over (about 50) and now have nothing to do with that many.
