I’ve wax stuck at the bottom and would like to remove them? I tried something like scissors but it’s messy.

Any suggestions besides a sharp object?

Put them in the freezer for an hour , then pull them out and run under hot water for a minute. Wax will pop right out .
    No mess

sometimes putting the candle holder in the freeze makes it easier to chip away excess wax…

if this doesn’t work let it soak in warm water.

I’ve done this before by setting the glass votive holder in a pan of water shallow enough NOT to float the glass.

After boiling for a while the wax will either soften or melt, depending on the melting temperature of the wax.

In either case, using a hot pot holder, hold the glass in one hand and wipe the wax out with a wadded paper towel.

Depending on how much wax there is, it may take several repeated cycles, but if you’re patient, the glass will be clean.

At that point I suggest washing the glass in your dishwasher [no need to do separately, but with your regular load].

just heat it up in your oven , then wipe it out with a paper towel
