I want to be be different then a lot of people. I bought little votive candle holders but I want to put something else inside them beside candles. Anyone have any ideas?
You can do the following:
1) Add heart mints, wrap the candle holder with cellophane and tie it with a bow.
2) Put foam in the votive, stick 2-3 lolipops in there and tie them w/ a bow

After dinner mints
Andes mints
Potpourri, then wrap the whole thing up in tulle
candle holders are not really different. You can try to create something unqiue that the two of you like to do together has a couple. Make a CD of your favorite songs or love quotes from your favorite romantic movies.
What are your wedding colors? You could do a mix of Jelly Belly Jelly beans in your wedding colors. I didn’t put them in votive candle holders, I just had them on the cake table for people to snack on and they were a huge hit! Jelly Belly has a ton of flavors in lots of different colors, and you can buy them online at jellybelly.com or a lot of candy shops do bulk candy sales by the pound.

chocolate covered peanuts or almonds, jelly beans, coffee beans ( they smell great ), Hersheys kisses, then wrap them in either white tuelle or a wedding color and another wedding color for the ribbon around it. Hope i helped!
If you really want to be different don’t get tied into thinking you need to hand out favors. It is not rude to not provide favors as you are inviting them and most likely you are feeding them. Plus, they are there to support you. Anyway, just skip over them and save yourself the money and the stress.
I’ve been to a dozen weddings and I have never, ever kept the favors. Ever. I have yet to see a favor so fab I feel the need to keep it. Even the little bubbles get thrown away and everything else ends up in a garage sale.
Candy or cookies could get eaten but some ppl are so picky. I say just skip it and you will for sure be different!
