Wow do I have a mess! 2 candles I was burning in my home last night got knocked over by accident. The candles had been burning for about 2 hours when this happened so there was lots of melted wax in the containers. It spilled all over a light beige painted wall and a light beige colored carpeting……. It’s already dry. It’s a pretty large amount and cranberry in color, (yeah, aren’t I just the luckiest?). Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
for the carpet place newspapers or papertowels over the spot and run a warm iron over the top, should come right off
Freeze it. It will lift right off ! Put an ice pack or ice cubes in a towel and hold it on to the wax until it gets cold.
As long as it’s completely dry, you should be able to pick it up pretty easily, I think.
Go be gone for the walls. Carpet cleaner for the carpet.
Put it in Freezer…
