I’m have a starry night wedding. its indoors so we are gonna have to come up with a way to make a night sky in the hall we are getting married in. Our colors are Midnight blue juniper and sliver/crystal… those are the colors we will use through out the room..

but my girls are gonna wear midnight blue dresses with silver sashes.

ok what i’m asking for are ideas on what kind of dresses they should wear
long flowy dresses, short cocktiel dresses etc

what type of decorations to use, what to use for lighting for a night look with out it being to dark.

what would be cool center pieces i can let people take home…

This sounds very pretty…i would go with long dresses something like the 3rd one…the other ones to me just don’t seem elegant enough for the sound of your wedding… or I found these

I really like the third and last one it has a blue sash that I could totally see as silver

    As for center pieces

This one below is nice because you could use silver/clear beads and dye the flowers blue…and have candles around it in blue…

I would use the clear Christmas lights and have someone come in if possible and hang the sheer white draping across that is ALWAYS gorgeous…

If you want anymore idea send me an email…

This reminded me of something very elegant that I could totally see at a wedding like yours

I did not look at your dresses, but it sounds like a very glamorous wedding. Starry nights just gives me the feeling of evening glamor. I would suggest long, flowing dresses for all the girls. You can make a very pretty material screen in the hallway with dark blue. It can be lace or have some sort of cut work to the fabric with Christmas lights behind it. You can even hang those big silver stars they sell around Christmas. Some are very classy looking. The new Christmas lights that they are marketing are LED’s. These are wonderful. They are tiny little bulbs with a huge impact. You do not need many, and they hardly use energy. You can place small battery powered LED’s into fish bowls for a decoration on the tables. You can place deep blue flower petals around the fish bowls. This sounds like such a pretty theme for a wedding!

is i think the best dress, in this colour i think the bust detail is glittery like a comet a the pleats like the tail. but on a girl with a big bust she is going to look pregnant. so i would go thes second dress.

i like the first dress…id definatley go long for a night wedding. you could use spot lighting for extra lights..in differnt colors.. expecailly to light up the bar area. you could get a lite up ice sculpture for the buffet area(if your having a buffet) and for your centerpieces you could get round jars and fill them with pretty blue crystal rocks and water and tie a silver ribbon around then and put blue betta fish in them…people would get a free decorative pet! also you could do blue and silver chair ties in a glittery tulle material.

There are companies that specialize in indoor lighting; contact one and I’m sure they can give you the starry sky look you want. You will definitely want plenty of lighting so people can enjoy the ceremony and be able to see your dress. That’s so important.
