Or I was just thinking.. I am going to get a plain white pillar candle for my unity candle and hot glue a string of beads around it, you could also use round cosage pins, just poke them in. Or you could use ribbon. It is inexpensive, and you can make the candle look exactly how you want.

They are the cheapest of the cheap! LOL. Actually, not sure on unity candles, but really, they are cheap on alot of stuff.
The only thing that distinguishes "unity candles" from regular candles… is the fact it says "unity candles" on the packaging. May i suggest, if you want REALLY cost effective… hit the dollar store. You can get two tapered candles and one fatter candle for $3 (if that, the tapers come in a 3pk i think)! Maybe even find some small candle holders. No biggie.
I am not ashamed to be the cheapest women in the world… and who is REALLY gonna know the difference??

look on party city.com in their stores wedding things are marked WAY down…. I saw unity candle sets for $10 – $15. I wanted to buy one to put away for my oldest niece, but she doesn’t even have a serious boyfriend – fortunately she’s decided to go to college
I don’t have my links anymore – new computer (but it still can’t spell worth a darn) but I searched unity candles and I think "discount wedding supplies" and found a few sites with decent prices.
You may also try searching "jamie lynn" unity candles (that’s the brand at party city)
